College of Engineering Goals
- To provide baccalaureate engineering education that produces engineers who are versatile, innovative, entrepreneurial, globally competitive and imbued with high ethical standards and social responsibility;
- To provide post-baccalaureate and continuing education programs to advance the knowledge and enhance the competence of engineers;
- To conduct research activities focused on national priority areas in engineering and technology that will cultivate creative and innovative endeavors and promote economic development;
- To initiate and participate in community activities that will serve as avenues for applying knowledge in engineering for the benefit of the community; and
- To establish linkages and mutual assistance endeavors with government, industry and other institutions in the areas of engineering education, research and extension services.
