TECHNICAL RIDER
STAGE
The minimalist nature of the IPAG Dance and Theater style relies  primarily on improvisation, movements, scene suggestions, and quick costume and prop changes. 

1. Standard proscenium or semi-arena (minimum dimensions: 30' x 30', or 10m X 10m), with adequate wing area for quick intros, and exits;

2. Adequate  off-stage area (for quick costume changes  and  the stand-by location for hand-held props) with:2 full-body mirrors (one in each side); adequate lights (but will not spill to stage areas):2 costume racks/coat hangers (one in each side);

3. Preferably black cyclorama;

4. Three (3) upstage battens for drops and light instruments

5. Lighted cross-over.

SETS (if available)
Black  risers of various levels and sizes shall be  arranged on  stage  to produce structures/levels. Designer  will  work  on available structures. Each riser may be large enough to  accommodate  actors and strong enough to support dancing. The forms  of the  levels  shall be determined by the  available  risers  which shall be combined and composed by the company's designer. 

SOUNDS
The  production  has dance and music pieces that  will  require  singing (individual and group) at various points of the stage. A separate music ensemble  will play acoustic  and  electronic  instruments (also setup on stage). Singing in various  portions  of the show accompany the performance.

[NOTE: Can  be adjusted/simplified to the most basic  available equip­ment]

1.Multi-directional, or shotgun microphones or their  equivalents in the acting area (one microphone with stand in DownStage Right area);

2.  At least 8 microphones, or equivalent,  in  the  Music Ensemble  area  for singing and amplifying the  acoustic  instruments. Instruments  to  be amplified:  gong ensemble (kulintang, agong, gandingan) steel acoustic  guitar, bamboo xylophone,  wooden xylophone, bamboo  flute,  Jews  harp (kubing), monkey-skin and leather drums. 

3.  Available line-in for instruments: electronic YAMAHA keyboard  and guitar with PL 55 stereo plugs, and laptop computer for digital music; 

4.Amplification (which power shall be suited to the venue)  with the following basic equipment: a. power amplifier with equalizer-mixer; b. monitor speakers; 

5.CD/DVD player for playback with digital counter  for  cueing  playback  music and sound effects;

LIGHTS
Standard
[NOTE: Can  be adjusted/simplified to the most basic  available  equip­ment] 

1.  Stage  lighting for minimum general lighting  and  3  special areas;

2. Equivalent of 48 lighting instruments (ellipsoidal lamps or PAR 64s, or their equivalent);

3.Special lighting: a. Follow spots; b. ultra-violet bulb and ballast, 200 W. (optional)

4. multi-channel dimmer board (manual pre-set acceptable) and complementing power packs

DRESSING ROOM

1.  At least two big dressing rooms (one each for males  and  fe­males);

2. A space for pre-performance warm-ups;

3.  Drinking water be provided in the dressing rooms  during  the performance. 

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

PRE-PERFORMANCE:
1. Schedules for the following are requested: a. set-up and focusing: 24 hours before performance; b. technical check: 12 hours before performance; c. run-through rehearsals: 8 hours before performance;

2.  For  longer series of performances in one  site,  a  separate space or  rehearsal hall is requested for toning rehearsals  and warm-ups. The Guild requests 3-4 hours of rehearsals and  warm-ups daily prior to the dates of performances;

3. Drinking water be available during these rehearsals;

4.  Venue  technicians and production assistants  be  present  to assist in set-up and pre-production work. They are requested  to be present and report to the Guild Production Manager at the hour of call. Technicians and assistants are also requested to stand-by  and be on call at all times during set-up,  performance,  and strike.

1. Three wooden crates containing props and costumes each measur­ing 2' X4' X2'.Approximate weight: 300 kgs. (672 lbs.)

2 Three costume bags, approximately 175 kgs. (392 lbs.)

3. Pack of 10 bamboo poles each measuring 8-10 feet long and 3 inches in diameter;

4.40 check-in baggages, and 20 hand-carried bags
