Membership Rules
IPAG artists
come from various parts of the country. They converge because of
the lure of the theater and the love for performance.
The converging point
is the
MSU-Iligan
Institute of Technology where the IPAG is based and where these
artists study.
Upon application, they train as apprentices before being accepted as
Resident Artists working under strict membership and training
protocols.
These artists train in the craft of their choice before they are
allowed to perform. Part of this training includes orientation
studies in Philippine Theater and Dance.
Scholars receive free
tuition, free books, a modest monthly allowance, and exemption from
P.E. 1 and 2. Artists have the privilege of touring with the Guild
to various places around the country and abroad.
