ELAINE C. MACAMAY (Ming-Ming) has acted and danced with the IPAG since she joined the Guild in 1998. She joined the national tours of
"Tales From Mindanao" and has been part of most of the company’s productions most notably "How the Women of Joaquin Met Lawanen" and "Love and Death
at Muddas." She also acted in "Dial M for Murder" for the MSU-IIT Players Company. She was the Institute’s Dramatics Awardee when she graduated (A.B.
Political Science) in 2002. Elaine is a faculty member of the Department of Political Science.
A wife and a doting mother of two, JEAN GRACIELA "JINGGAY" E. PEÑOLA (R, the mother)
joined several national tours including IPAG’s international debut of "Tales From Mindanao" as Philippine representative in the 1994 Singapore
Festival of Arts. Graduating with an A.B. English degree in Linguistics from the MSU-IIT, Jinggay teaches in the St. Michael’s College where she
moderates the Lakbay Buhay Theater Group and is choreographer-director of the Dance Company. She has performed lead in the Tales’ "Love and
Death at Muddas" and "The Tale of the Bird and Fish." Besides being actress, she is also music performing artist for the Ensemble.
VENUS TAN (I, the grandmother) acted in "Bayan-bayanan," and
"Dog Eaters of Tambacan, " among others." Her intense internalization is an asset that allows her to delve deeper into the persona of the characters
she portrays. Her theater talents were honed with the PETA workshops she joined in 1978. She is a faculty member of the Department of Filipino.
AL FAY VINTOLA (P, the uncle) has been (during most part of his student life)
associated with the stage. He played saxophone for the Silliman University Band, sang with the University of San Agustin Choir in Iloilo City, acted
in "T.S. Eliot’s "Murder in the Cathedral" with the Stage One Theater Company of Iloilo, and now performs with the IPAG after his transfer to the
Institute in 2003. Al is an A.B. English student.
HOBART SAVIOR (P, the uncle) is Artistic Director of the Liceo theater company in Cagayan de Oro City. He acts, directs, and manages cultural organizations. He first joined the IPAG premiere of "Datu Matu" for the 2nd National Theater Festival in 1996 and played lead in the musicale's restaging for the 25th anniversary of the CCP Outreach.
Dance performers LEILANI MONTEROLA and AMADO GUINTO
(tonongs) are with the international touring ensemble of the IPAG. Among themselves, they have performed lead roles in major touring
productions. Lani was with the 1997, 1998, 2001 and 2002 international tours in Europe and Asia, and plays roles in "Lawanen," "How the Women of
Joaquin," "Muddas," and "Maria Cristina," among others. Amado has joined the touring company since 2001 and plays roles in "How the Women of Joaquin"
and "Tales.’" Besides acting and dancing, Amado is also a costume designer. Amado has a BS degree in Information Technology and Lani in AB Sociology,
both from the MSU-IIT.
