Promotion for Quality and Productivity

Mindanao Association for Quality (MAQ), Inc.

MSU-IIT has been a member of the Mindanao Association for Quality (MAQ), Inc. for at least five (5) years. As an Institutional member, the highest official of the Institute, Chancellor Marcelo P. Salazar is automatically the principal representative to the association with two alternate representatives namely; Dr. Arnulfo P. Supe, Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and the then head of Technology Application and Promotion Unit (TAPU), Mrs. Marife M. Mamauag. When Mrs. Mamauag resigned from the Institute in 2004, IIT’s representation to MAQ left a gap as there was no representative attending the regular meetings and participating in related activities; hence, Dr. Jerson N. Orejudos, Dean of the School of Graduates Studies, is designated as the second alternate representative since 2005 up to the present.

MAQ is predominantly composed of members from the private industries, and government offices in Region 10. There are also individual members, some of whom are from MSU-IIT in the persons of Prof. Delilah L. Soliva, Prof. Jingle B. Magallanes and Prof. Allan Roy L. Pamitalan.
