Vision
A globally competitive Research and Extension (R&E) arm of the Institute dedicated to the promotion of Science and Technology (S&T) for the attainment of a just a lasting peace and the equitable and sustainable development of Mindanao.
Mission
- To provide responsive R&E services committed to multi-disciplinary programs that are gender and culture sensitive.
- To serve as a catalyst for change to upgrade R&E manpower capabilities, facilities and institutions.
- To develop a strong and extensive network among other R&E agencies of Mindanao.
Goals
- Promote S&T culture among the people of Mindanao;
- Develop and transfer appropriate technologies to target beneficiaries to help them become globally competitive;
- Promote a culture of peace among the tri-people (Muslims, Christians, and Lumads) communities in Mindanao;
- Assist the government in its capability building efforts toward effective local governance;
- Promote a research culture in Mindanao;
- Generate income and incentives for research and extension endeavors of the Institute;
- Enhance the R&E networking linkages of the Institute; and
- Develop an extensive tri-media information dissemination program for the R&E activities of the Institute.
